WPC Material Composition Principle

Wood plastic composite (WPC) is a new type of environmentally friendly and recyclable material. It is a new type of building material extruded through a mold with treated wood fiber and optimized polymer materials as the basic materials, which takes advantage of the ease of processing of wood and the diversity and flexibility of plastic processing methods, and has a wide range of applications.

Wood-plastic composite materials perfectly combine and bring into play the advantages of wood and plastic polymer materials. Wood-plastic composite materials overcome the congenital defects of wood such as easy deformation, cracking, non-waterproof, and non-corrosion resistance, and also overcome the disadvantages of plastic polymer materials, such as easy aging, not cold-resistant, not heat-resistant, and cannot be post-processed.

At present, wood-plastic composite materials have been widely used in the civil field. The products

include indoor decoration materials such as door panels, door frames, door architraves, skirting lines, louvers, wall panels and other decorative lines, and also can be used in exterior wall decoration and outdoor products, municipal facilities, packaging materials, household products, daily necessities, auto parts, etc.

Due to the characteristics of wood-plastic composite materials such as light weight, high rigidity, acid and alkali resistance, waterproof and insect-proof, no formaldehyde, no benzene and other decorative issues, and can be recycled, the application fields are constantly expanding.
